Self Defence for Women

In these increasingly violent times it is a fact that assaults and serious attacks on women are on the increase. These courses are designed to show you how to avoid an attack, or in the situation where you are attacked, how to fight back.

The Seminar

The course covers all issues from dealing with a nuisance, to protecting yourself from, and coping with, a determined attacker. You are entitled to feel safe, and this advanced course will give you the tools to ensure that you do. The techniques utilised here are extremely effective, and not for the squeamish.

It is recommended that you attend a Personal Safety Training seminar before attending Advanced Self Defence training, however this is optional. HYPERLINK HERE TO WOMENS PERSONAL SAFETY

The courses are held at a number of facilities around the U.K.

The Half Day Course comprises of practical Advanced Self Defence Techniques. This course focuses on physical Self Defence and is purely designed for those who have completed a Personal Safety Course and are looking for further options in their Self Defence arsenal, and for those who wish to upgrade and expand their Self Defence skills base.

No specialist clothing is required; tracksuit bottoms, leggings or a leotard and a T-shirt should be worn. Jewellery should be removed or covered with a sticking plaster during lessons, to avoid the possibility of injury. The training area has mats provided and so no footwear will be needed. You are not required to be particularly fit, however if you are significantly overweight, elderly, have not exercised for a long period of time, or suffer from diabetes, heart, respiratory or back problems, it is advisable to consult your doctor before commencing any type of training.

Courses are provided to Women's Organisations, Student Bodies, School Groups, Play Groups, Youth Clubs, Women's Institute, Women's Shelter Groups and Individuals.  Please call or e-mail for details / dates.

The cost of the complete course is £45.00 per person, includes all materials associated with the course, and a Certificate of Attendance.

The contents of these courses have been discussed and approved by a Police Crime Prevention. Earl Walker is a 4th Dan Black Belt in Ju Jitsu, Level 1 Qualified Ju Jitsu Instructor,, ex boxer , ex bouncer, and has run a large number of very successful Self Defence Seminars. He runs 5 Ju Jitsu clubs in Essex.
