Self Defence
Self Defence Courses are specifically designed to give the
attendee a good grounding in Personal Safety strategies, and has a strong
physical element. Students are trained to deal with a multitude of situations
where their Personal Safety may be compromised, and strategies for dealing with
physical attacks. The main tenet is that the best form of Self Defence is not
to be in a potentially dangerous situation in the first place, so much of the
lectures are based around Prevention and Avoidance. Physical Interventions are
utilised to facilitate escape.

Self Defence Tuition
Our Self
Defence Experts can provide one to one tuition in Self Defence, based around
sound, simple techniques, the object is to instruct in all aspects of Self
Defence. The program, which is suitable for everyone, will be tailored to
specific needs. Many of the programs are specifically designed to fit in
with lifestyle. We have provided specialist Self Defence tuition sessions
including: Basic Self Defence, Prevention and Avoidance Strategies, Self
Defence for the Travelling Student (Backpacking), Self Defence in a Youth Club
environment, Self Defence for the Older Person and lots more.

Self Defence for
All
The seminar is suitable for all able bodied young people and adults. The course
has a considerable Physical Intervention content, and is intended to equip the
participant with the mental and physical tools to deal with a potential attack.
Emphasis is placed on Avoidance and Prevention; however, the strategies that are
utilised are designed to allow a clean escape with the minimum of force, if the
situation deteriorates into a physical confrontation.

Women’s Self Defence
The course is suitable for all women.
The course will teach tactics for avoiding potentially dangerous situations,
scenarios which show how to assess danger, and how to utilise various techniques
to ensure that each student can feel safe and confident under most
circumstances. There is a significant Self Defence element, and physical
training will be provided.

Self Defence for
the over 50’s
The seminar
is suitable for all able bodied adults over 50 years of age. The course is
very comprehensive and imparts to each attendee the various methods and
abilities to deal with situations where violence may become a factor.
Concentrating on averting the circumstances under which an attack may be made,
the course is specifically targeted to the older person who wishes to feel
safer, both at home and out and about.

hunting ground for the attacker. |
Young Person's Self Defence
This Course is
suitable for all young people between the ages of 10 and 24. This group is
among the most vulnerable (particularly young males) in the UK, with regard to violence and attacks on the
person, robbery and assault. The Course covers staying safe while
travelling on public transport, while out and about, strategies for remaining
safe, and identifying and reacting to the danger signs. The Self Defence
element is based on breakaway techniques, and utilising the weight and momentum
of a larger opponent.

The British Ju Jitsu
Association (GB) is the official Sports Council Governing Body in the U.K. approve all
seminars. The contents have been discussed and approved by a Police Crime
Prevention. Earl Walker is a 4th Dan Black Belt in Ju Jitsu, Level 1 Qualified
Ju Jitsu Instructor,, ex boxer , ex
bouncer, and has run a large number of very successful Sef Defence Seminars.
He runs 4 Ju Jitsu clubs, and trains a number of Ulitmate (Cage) Fighters.
