Personal Safety in Schools & Colleges
Designed for School Students
This is a half day workshop / seminar, specifically tailored to School and College Students, School Leavers and those about to enter Further Education, including going to University. The course will cover travelling around on foot and by public transport; personal space; recognising signs of aggression; assertive behaviour; psychological and physiological effects of fear; confrontation and threat; self control and discipline; going out (pubs and clubs); self defence and the law.

The Seminar is designed to compliment the student’s Personal Development, Citizenship and Self Awareness. These seminars are particularly suited to years 10 and 11 students who are leaving school for college or university, as it describes the scenarios likely to be encountered and strategies for dealing with them.
The course is classroom based and presentation software is used. Questions are encouraged, and the advice is presented in a straightforward and clear manner.
All trainers have been vetted and CRB checked.
A Certificate of Attendance is presented to all participants, and attendees are requested to complete a feedback form on completion of the course, in order that we can continue to improve our workshops and courses.
